Like fellow Aliter founders Billy Allan and Greig Brown, Andy joined Stiell as an apprentice electrical engineer and rose rapidly through the ranks. Today, he is one of the leading commercial professionals in the UK support services sector. Over a 20 year period prior to the launch of Aliter in 2017, Andy was Commercial Director at Stiell, Alfred McAlpine and Europa Support Services, where he was a member of the buy in team.

In these roles he delivered significant bottom-line growth through profit improvement programmes with a forensic approach to procurement, contracts, operating cost analysis and risk management.

Andy has been involved in the due diligence process in over 40 acquisitions, working closely with legal and financial professionals. He has also led the internal legal, commercial and financial due diligence and integration programmes on a number of significant acquisitions and complex outsourcing contracts.
