Our model is to invest and focus on only a handful of core businesses.

That way, we can really devote time to working with and supporting management. Our investments are not just assets in a portfolio. Our goal is to help build outstanding support services businesses.

Most of our deals are done ‘off-market’. In other words, we don’t tend to compete in auctions to buy businesses.

We look for bright and ambitious leaders and management teams and we take time to get to know them. We discuss their goals and ambitions – for the business, and for themselves.

We start to explore strategy and growth options. We work together to build an understanding of what makes each other tick – and a strong sense of whether we can work together.

Only after that do we start to work on the deal.
